Meet Chester!
Chester is a northern red oak tree (Quercus rubra) that has grown up in Manhattan, Kansas. Born and planted in City Park, Chester has seen many playdates throughout the years.
At 50 ft tall Chester overlooks City Park and watches their friends play. But that is not the only thing Chester does. They work hard to keep their friends happy and healthy. One of their most important jobs is to clean the air. Chester does this by capturing carbon dioxide and turning it into oxygen.
